Established in the spring of 2003, THORN FILMS INC, is the new motion picture company that breaks the barriers of conventional narrative filmmaking. Our prime motive is to produce hard-hitting, controversial films, speaking to the public on a relevant level, tackling those issues others are afraid to deal with. Our films are about real people in real situations. A film group that takes a stand against life’s stormy complexities, in order to shine a light on the human condition; to tell a great story through the magic of the lens.

Our documentary department offers new perspectives on important social issues such as human rights, international minorities, racial government, and global affairs, while educating on updated concerns, such as community development, students, religions, organizations and many problems directly and indirectly effecting societies around the world.

Over the years, we have gathered top-industry talent, garnering a fresh, international perspective for North-American filmmaking in order to build a film production company that can produce tackling storylines that inspire a widening audience through a variety of mediums; 35mm, 16mm, High Definition, DigiBeta, Beta, DV and Mini-DV.
